Carmen was a wonderful guide. She took us on a 3hr orientation & food tour and did a spontaneous stop at the bull ring. The best part was being able to enter the bull ring first while others needed to wait for an official guide. Carmen is also great with kids, my daughter kept wanting to hold her hand and show her things. Afterwards we went to the fresh food market for lunch. She helped us order and the food was delicious. Highly recommend you take a tour with her.

“We had our tour with your guide Carmen today and it went extremely well.”

We had our tour with your guide Carmen today and it went extremely well. She lined up a cab to drive us around the city and the driver was totally cooperative. Carmen is an excellent guide. Having lived in England for 6 years, she has an excellent command of English. She is thoroughly familiar with the history, customs and architecture of Seville. She is kind, considerate and personable. We give her 5 stars.

Carmen is a jewel! She is energetic, intelligent and knows the region and its culture. Our tour began at the pier in Cádiz where we were met by Carmen and our driver. The one and one-half hour trip to Sevilla was fun and informative. By the time we arrived in Sevilla, we felt like she was family! Her style and knowledge of the city far exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Carmen!!!

Carmen was very prompt and met us at our hotel. Her English is impeccable and she knows her history of Seville. She is a delightful person and my husband and I felt at home instantly. “Carmen was simply amazing.”

Carmen was simply amazing. In the middle of the worst rain Seville has seen in years, we spent 6 hours together talking, chatting, learning, walking, ducking in and out of the rain, ending with lunch of the most amazing tapas. Carmen is knowledgeable, gracious, professional, flexible, and generous with her time and talents. Yes, call her!!! She will work with you so that you can have the tour you like.

Our walking tour of Seville with Carmen was a blast and we wouldn't hesitate recommending it to any newcomers to this wonderful city. Carmen, an experienced tour guide, turned out to be informative, fluent in English, dynamic and practical but more importantly warm, witty and charming. After a few hours, which flew by in an instant, we all felt like good friends who had known each other for years. The tour is highly flexible and you can request to be taken to as many or to as few attraction as you want.

Carmen is the first thing I mention when talking about my trip to Sevilla

I was in Sevilla visiting my daughter who is studying there. Zöe was in class a lot and I wandered around town on my own for a few days before Carmen and I met. Once Carmen was at my side I felt like I was in a different place! She made Sevilla come alive with history, personal stories, funny anecdotes, and the knowledge of "when to be quiet" to let me soak in the scene or moment. She has a special touch and approach.

I hope to see Carmen again soon as she is a special, warm person (and kick-ass guide!).

24 hours in Seville – Exceptional Experience with Carmen!

Carmen is awesome! She is knowledgeable and super nice and sweet! She suggested I saw the Easter floats that were being prepared for the week-long Holy week celebration. It was such a treat to see the floats - they were beautiful and intricate and only viewable at the time when I was visiting. Carmen also helped me booked a ticket for the flamingo show at the museum of Flamingo dancing and all 3 shows were eventually sold old that night. I had such a great time in Seville and I highly recommend hiring Carmen as your tour guide because you will see/learn so much more than you will on your own. Did I mention I did not have to stand in line at all because I have a tour guide!? That alone was worth the money! Thanks Carmen!

“Excellent ! “

There were 4 of us who took a took a guided tour with carmen and to be honest she completely won me over. I was a person a little sceptical about the need.for a.guided tour in a foreign city ....History and a lot.of blah blah blah. But she managed to put so.much insight into her tour that for me she brought the city and it's events alive. Apart from her really interesting guided tour she gave us a lot of really useful information ...bars to eat in ...places where real sevillans go ....places ....In and AROUND Seville. Also lots of interesting things about modern Seville and Spain that are hard to find in the guide book. Thanks Carmen for a lovely time ...hope to come.back soon !

“Excellent guided tour”

I know Spain and Seville very well and so was pleasantly suprised by the insight given to me of Seville by Carmen. The tour was extremely informative but at the same time really enjoyable. At the end of the tour we went to a delightful bar near the centre, I was expecting to go to a typically touristic place but she took us to a small bar near the centre and I really loved both the food and the information she gave to us about modern seville ( something not so easy to find in the guide book). Previously we went to the alcazar and the cathedral which was made extremely interesting and has got me hooked on Spanish history! Great tour Thanks Carmen!

“Carmen is absolutely wonderful!”

This review comes a bit late - we were in Sevilla in March - however, the wonderful experience we had with Carmen has lost none of the glow, that's how absolutely wonderful Carmen was... We originally contacted another tour guide for a private Flamenco tour for myself and the hubby. While he was unable to accomodate us, he recommended Carmen, and we are delighted he did. Carmen met us at our hotel, and the three of us walked the short distance to the flamenco performance Carmen arranged for us to attend - a very small, intimate show at the Flamenco Museum, which we highly recommend. She provided a tremoundously interesting running commentary on our way there, gave us a basic grounding on the history and symbolism of the flamenco artist and their art prior to the show, and after the show, sat down with us for tapas to discuss flamenco, Sevilla, and life in general, along with providing us with some fabulous recommendations for the remainder of our trip. Carmen was throughout lovely, charming, professional, knowledgeable, and a true delight. We will be going back to Sevilla in the near future, and we shall be contacting Carmen, even if only to have a drink with her to say hello. Yes, we enjoyed her that much! Muchas Gracias, Carmen.

“Seville is another city with Moorish roots.”

Carmen was the best guide for our 5-6 hour tour of Seville. She met 20 of us in Cadiz for the bus ride to Seville. She and her fellow guide, Vivi, broke us into 2 groups to visit the Plaza de Espana, the Barrio Santa Cruz, and the Alcazar. With the smaller groups and headsets, we were able to see and understand the various sites.

“Seville Tour for mobility challenged”

Contacted this company about 3 months before our cruise. Their usual excursion from Cadiz port to Seville involves a lot of walking over cobblestones through narrow streets. Joseph said he had done a "panoramic" tour (mostly small bus) the previous year and if I could get a group of at least 10 people who had difficulty walking, used wheelchairs, scooters, etc the it would be viable for the company to offer. It included the following sights: Expo 1929 and 1992, Maria Luisa Park, the old Tobacco Factory, Carthusian Monastery as well as other places. Some brief photo stops. We got out at Saint Telmo Palace and walked by it, Alfonso XIII Hotel and on to the Cathedral area. It was about a 15-20 walk over even surfaces with ramps at crosswalks.

Carmen our guide was delightful and very patient with the last minute participants who were obnoxious. She had a lot of information to share on the hour drive to Seville as well as in Seville itself. The Cathedral was an extra cost, but there was time to see it. Several of the more mobile participants followed Carmen a ways into the old city and they were very pleased. Very reasonable cost for a full day tour.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Small, family owned company who was a pleasure to work with.

“Carmen and Nicholas are great. I’m enjoying my holidays”

Hola Carmen,
We spent 3 wonderful days in Madrid and returned
to California last Tues.  In Madrid we saw the Royal
Palace, the cathedral next to it (Sunday mass going
on), and the Prado. We had dinner at Botin with the
rest of the group.
Chin and I want to thank you for the amazing tour
you led. You are very personable and happy to
share your knowledge and pride for your country
with us. I learned from all of you. Today at
my grocery store I look for olive oil produced in
Spain and happy to find quite a selection.  As for the
breakfast Cafe con leche y jamon en pan, I miss
dearly. Can't find American version with same price.
Take care.

Thank you Carmen.
